Our story

    Back in 2010, Langham Hall was unused and unloved until a group of residents decided to reclaim the hall for the community.
    There followed two years of tireless campaigning, fund-raising, negotiation and refurbishment.
    In September 2012 the renovated hall was reopened for the benefit of the local community.

    The hall remains under the ownership of Basildon Borough Council, but has been leased to Langham Hall Community Trust who manage and maintain the building.
